Dear Devotees,
As we prepare to celebrate the joyous festival of Diwali, we invite you to contribute your time and efforts to ensure our Edinburgh Hindu Mandir is ready to welcome this auspicious occasion with purity and devotion.
We need your support in the following seva activities:
1. Temple Deep Cleaning and Decoration
- Saturday, October 26th | 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- Sunday, October 27th | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Help us clean and beautify the temple by:
- Dusting, mopping, and cleaning common areas
- Decorating the temple with lights, flowers, and rangoli
- Organizing and tidying the surroundings
Bring your own cleaning supplies and decorations if possible. Refreshments will be provided for all volunteers.
2. Diwali Puja Seva on 31st October
- Thursday, October 31st | 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
We also request your help during the Diwali Puja for:
- Serving food to devotees after the puja
- Tidying up the temple and dining areas after the event
This is a wonderful opportunity to offer your seva during one of the most significant festivals in our tradition.
