Calling all music lovers! Join us for Sangeet Sandhya, a monthly musical gathering at the Edinburgh Hindu Mandir & Cultural Centre, where we celebrate the joy of music and foster a vibrant community of enthusiasts.
What is Sangeet Sandhya?
Sangeet Sandhya is a casual meetup for anyone who loves to sing, play instruments, or simply enjoy listening to others. It’s a space to:
Sing your heart out: Whether you’re a seasoned singer or just starting out, feel free to share your voice with the group.
Play your instrument: Bring your favourite instrument (guitar, harmonium, tabla, etc.) and join in the musical jam session.
Listen and Learn: Enjoy the diverse musical talents of the group and learn from fellow musicians.
Connect with like-minded people: Meet other music enthusiasts, share your passion, and build connections.

When: The first Friday of every month, 7:30 PM (after Arti)
Where: Edinburgh Hindu Mandir, St Andrew Place, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 7EG
Entry Fee: A recommended donation of £5 per participant. All funds raised go towards supporting the Mandir’s ongoing projects and improvements.
What to Expect:
No pressure, just fun: Sangeet Sandhya is a relaxed and welcoming environment. Come as you are and enjoy the music!
Variety of styles: We welcome all genres of music, from Bollywood and Ghazal to folk, devotional, and non-devotional songs.
Bring your instruments (optional): If you’d like to play, feel free to bring your instrument along. Karaoke tracks are also welcome.
