A brand new framework and dome are created. We are getting a new dome cover from Puri, India as well.

EDINBURGH HINDU MANDIR (SCOTLAND) IS A SANATAN HINDU MANDIR THAT IS SEEKING A FULL-TIME QUALIFIED HINDU PRIEST (PANDITJI). THIS POSITION REQUIRES CONDUCTING HINDU VEDIC RITUALS/CEREMONIES AND OTHER PRIESTLY DUTIES AS WHEN REQUIRED BY THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AT THE MANDIR (TEMPLE) AND AT THE LOCATIONS OFF-SITE AS AND WHEN REQUIRED. THE CANDIDATE MUST BE FLUENT IN HINDI, SANSKRIT AND ENGLISH. SHOULD YOU BE INTERESTED IN APPLYING FOR THIS (1 YEAR CONTRACT) POSITION, PLEASE FORWARD YOUR CV

Would like to invite you and your family to the Diwali celebration. Given the current situation, we would be required to follow a few restrictions to fall in line with Government guidelines.

14th Nov, Saturday – timing : 9:30am - 20:00pm

Temple will be open for the whole day for the darshan.

Laxmi Puja at 6:00 PM in the evening. Puja will be telecast on Facebook and Youtube.

devotees allowed for darshan only, pls wear a face mask social distance of 2 meters is mandatory, and follow government guideline, detail flyer to follow.

Community Hall Renovation

Community Hall renovation was long overdue. That Work finally is in progress. Temple is closed as per COVID 19 guidelines. this is the perfect time to complete the work before re-opening in a few month's time.

The following work has been planned and in progress.

1. New lower Ceiling, which will reduce the Gas bills going forward.

2. Improvement of lighting, new LED Lights to replace old Halogens.

3. side walls are covered with plasterboards and insulations to improve heating.

4. Change the flooring - remove carpet and replace it with high-quality flooring to improve hygiene and safety.

5. Painting of the walls
