Located in a beautifully preserved former Church building, the Mandir offers a serene and welcoming environment that can accommodate up to 500 devotees. It is more than just a place of worship—it is a spiritual, cultural, and social hub for Hindus across Edinburgh and beyond.

The Mandir is home to a thriving and diverse congregation, bringing together families, individuals, and visitors from different parts of the world. Devotees gather regularly on Sundays and Tuesdays for prayers, meditation, bhajans, and community worship, creating an atmosphere filled with devotion and harmony. The dedicated Executive Committee, supported by volunteers, ensures that the temple runs smoothly and remains open and accessible to all.

Beyond its central role as a place of worship, the Mandir is deeply committed to preserving and promoting Hindu culture, values, and traditions in Scotland. It organises a wide range of cultural and educational activities, including festivals, workshops, language classes, and social gatherings. Major Hindu festivals such as Diwali, Navratri, Janmashtami, Holi, and Ganesh Chaturthi are celebrated with great enthusiasm, attracting not only members of the Hindu community but also friends and neighbours from wider Scottish society.
